A bear sighting has been reported near “Viva City” in the Khan-Uul District of Ulaanbaatar, prompting a coordinated search effort. Five officials from the Ulaanbaatar City Environmental Department with two vehicles, six officials from the Khan-Uul District Emergency Department with one vehicle, and four police officers from the Khan-Uul District Police Department with one vehicle are currently searching along the Tuul River. The search is being conducted by the Ulaanbaatar City Environmental Department, the Ulaanbaatar City Emergency Department, and the Ulaanbaatar City Police Department. Authorities are urging residents and the public to exercise caution and follow guidelines issued by emergency services and relevant agencies. If a bear is sighted, citizens are advised not to attempt to capture or provoke it, to report the sighting immediately, to remain calm and move away slowly, and to refrain from approaching or photographing the animal.
