A mother bear and her cubs entered a residence on the edge of the forest in Bușteni on two separate occasions over two days. According to the homeowner's son, Mihai Văsii, the animals managed to gain access to the house both times. Once inside, the bears successfully located and opened the refrigerator to feed. Văsii reported that the animals specifically consumed items such as cheese during their raids. The incidents highlight the ongoing challenges of wildlife encroachment in the resort area. Local residents remain vigilant as bears continue to seek food sources in residential zones. The homeowner documented the intrusions, capturing the moment the animals were discovered inside.
