A temporary closure of roads around the Bayankhoshuu circle in Ulaanbaatar is scheduled for September 8, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Both westward and eastward traffic flow in the 40th khoroo of Songinokhairkhan district, surrounding the Bayankhoshuu circle, will be partially restricted during these hours. The closure is necessary for base asphalt concrete paving work. The Ulaanbaatar City Road Development Authority requests public understanding and advises motorists to use alternative routes. This work is part of the “Sustainable Urban Transport and Road Project” in Ulaanbaatar, jointly implemented by the Road Development Authority and the World Bank. The project includes the renewal of a 5.6-kilometer section of road from Bayankhoshuu to the Baruunsalaan split intersection, as assessed by the Geology Center laboratory.
