A physician known locally as the “doctor of the poor,” Dr. Samir Hossain Mishu, was arrested in Sherpur, Bogura, Bangladesh, following an incident at a birthday celebration. Local youth wing activists, allegedly spurred on by rival doctors, alerted police to his presence at a restaurant on Tuesday night.
