Two police officers, including a Sub-Inspector, have been temporarily suspended in Bangladesh following allegations of assault against national cricketer Naeem Hasan. Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner Hasan Shaukat Ali announced the suspensions and the formation of a three-member investigation committee on Saturday. The committee will investigate the details surrounding the alleged assault. Commissioner Ali disclosed this information to journalists while visiting Hasan’s home.
