Brigadier General Syed Mo. Motaher Hossain, formerly the Inspector General of Prisons in Bangladesh, has been appointed as the Defense Advisor to the Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. Hossain previously oversaw the security, management, and reformation of prisons across Bangladesh.
