Bangladesh Television (BTV), the state-run broadcaster, reported revenue of 80.535 million taka for the first eleven months of the current fiscal year, up to May. Information and Broadcasting Minister Jahiruddin Swapan disclosed this information in the National Parliament. During the same period, BTV’s expenditures totaled 2541.845 million taka. This indicates a significant financial deficit for the organization. The information was shared during the 12th session of the second and first budget session of the 13th National Parliament.
