Bangladesh has initiated ‘Notun Kuri Sports’, a program aimed at identifying and nurturing athletic talent from the grassroots level. Driven by Prime Minister Tareq Rahman’s vision, the initiative, under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, seeks to develop national and international-level athletes. The program’s national-level concluding ceremony and awards distribution for its first edition were held Monday at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in Dhaka. ‘Notun Kuri Sports’ focuses on providing opportunities for young athletes, transforming sports into a viable career path. The program intends to tap into the country’s untapped potential in athletics, offering structured training and support. Organizers hope the initiative will contribute significantly to Bangladesh’s sporting achievements on the global stage. The event celebrated the accomplishments of young athletes emerging from this new platform.
