Bangladesh’s Prime Minister inaugurated a family card distribution program in Srimangal, Moulvibazar, on Wednesday. The initiative aims to provide support to vulnerable families, beginning with 155 households in Mirzapur Union’s Ward 1. The Prime Minister officially launched the third phase of the program by remotely activating the distribution system at Victoria High School. She also personally handed over cards to ten beneficiaries. This is an initial pilot phase focused on Srimangal, with plans for wider implementation. The “family cards” are intended to facilitate access to government assistance and essential services. The program represents a targeted approach to social welfare distribution within the region.
