Abdullah claims the government is attempting to remove hiring authority from the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) and establish its own committee to manage appointments. He suggests this move is detrimental to fair and transparent hiring practices. The MP voiced his concern on Wednesday, questioning whether the government has forgotten its commitments for 2024.
