Powerful storms swept across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia on Saturday, causing widespread disruption and damage. The intense weather uprooted trees, damaged power lines and infrastructure, and disrupted road, rail, and air traffic. Over 520,000 households in Lithuania and Latvia were left without electricity. Tragically, two people were killed as a result of the storms. Footage released by Lithuanian media highlights the significant scale of the destruction. Authorities are working to restore power and clear debris, but full recovery efforts are expected to take time.
