Pakistani security forces killed 10 terrorists during an operation in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan province on Friday, according to the military’s media wing. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated the operation was conducted to eliminate terrorists active in the area, who were responsible for attacks on security forces and civilians. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists’ hideouts. The slain terrorists were reportedly involved in recent attacks targeting security personnel, including an attack on a convoy in the area last week. This operation marks a continuation of ongoing counterterrorism efforts in Balochistan, a region plagued by insurgency. Authorities are working to establish peace and stability in the province, facing continued challenges from various militant groups. The ISPR affirmed its commitment to protecting citizens from terrorist threats.
