Audi Vietnam is recalling nine vehicles – specifically the e-tron and Q8 e-tron models – due to a potential defect in the brake assist system. The issue centers around a bolt connecting the brake pedal to the brake booster, which may not have been tightened to the required specifications during manufacturing. This could compromise the effectiveness of the brake assist function. The recall is for inspection and repair of the potentially loose bolt. Audi Vietnam will conduct the necessary repairs free of charge to affected vehicle owners. Owners will be contacted directly to schedule a service appointment. This action aligns with Audi’s commitment to vehicle safety and quality control.
