Portuguese judicial police have disrupted a significant cocaine trafficking route across the Atlantic Ocean. The operation, dubbed "Azul 2.0," led to the seizure of 465 kilograms of cocaine and 42 kilograms of hashish. Authorities also confiscated two high-speed vessels used in the trafficking operation, along with 800 liters of fuel. The operation successfully targeted a key link in the transatlantic drug supply chain. No arrests were immediately announced in connection with the bust, but investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend those involved. This represents a substantial blow to criminal organizations attempting to move narcotics across the Atlantic. The seized drugs will be analyzed and further investigations will follow to determine the origin and destination of the shipment.
