Following the June 24th earthquakes, a coalition of Venezuelan arts organizations has come together to support the rebuilding of damaged art schools. Two theatre production companies, a dance studio, and an arts education school are collaborating to restore at least ten affected academies. The initiative, dubbed “Aplausos de Pie” (Standing Ovation), aims to help revitalize the artistic community impacted by the disaster. Impetu Dance Studio and CLAS Producciones are among the groups providing aid and expertise. This collaborative effort demonstrates the strong solidarity within the Venezuelan cultural sector.
