A new collaborative platform for art and design has been established in Buenos Aires, uniting Galería Subsuelo and studio Darkhaus. Located in a renovated building on Tacuarí Street, the initiative aims to offer an alternative to the fast-paced art world. The project emphasizes human-scale spaces and a renewed appreciation for traditional craftsmanship. A key element of the platform is its focus on materiality and establishing connections between artists and designers across different regions, linked by the Río de la Plata. The founders envision a space that values process and thoughtful creation over immediate trends. This venture seeks to foster a community centered around shared artistic exploration and the preservation of artisanal skills. The platform represents a deliberate move towards a more considered approach to art and design.
