Additionally, Fauci criticized the Senator for releasing pages from his personal diary to intimidate him. Despite receiving a preemptive pardon from President Biden, Fauci remains concerned about potential prosecution. Senator Paul argues that the former advisor can still be prosecuted for perjury if he makes statements during this hearing.
