A large bồ đề tree, estimated to be over ten meters tall, unexpectedly fell and crushed the cabin of a moving truck in Ho Chi Minh City on June 14th. The incident occurred on Trần Xuân Soạn street, formerly in District 7. Fortunately, the truck driver escaped the wreckage without serious injury. Authorities are investigating the cause of the tree’s collapse. The incident caused traffic disruption in the area as emergency services worked to clear the debris. No other injuries have been reported. The fallen tree has prompted questions about urban tree maintenance and safety in the city.
