Sixteen people were temporarily stranded on a ride at Tivoli Sariola amusement park in Tuuri, Finland on Sunday. According to the South Ostrobothnia Rescue Department, firefighters responded to the incident. The malfunction, affecting a ride named “Hawaii,” was attributed to a technical issue, as stated by Tivoli Sariola’s CEO, Ville Sariola. Sariola confirmed the ride had undergone inspection earlier the same day. The affected ride has been taken out of service, but the rest of the amusement park remains open and operational. Authorities have not reported any injuries related to the incident.
