An Amazon Boeing 767 cargo aircraft veered off the runway at Miami International Airport and came to rest on a nearby road. Video footage shows significant black smoke emanating from the plane, with surrounding vehicles stopped in traffic. The flight originated from San Juan, Puerto Rico, before landing in Miami. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reports the aircraft overran the end of the runway, crossed a road adjacent to the airport, and ultimately stopped in a field. While appearing largely intact, the extent of the damage remains unclear and the cause of the incident is under investigation. All departing flights from Miami International Airport were temporarily grounded following the event. As of now, there are no reports of injuries or fatalities. The FAA will be conducting a full investigation into the incident.
