Algeria’s National Meteorology Office (ONM) has issued a rain alert for 26 provinces across the country. The alert, published this Thursday, forecasts torrential rains beginning today and continuing through Friday. The level II (orange) alert is valid from 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 8th. Significant rainfall, potentially reaching up to 50mm, is expected in the affected areas. Residents in the impacted provinces are advised to take necessary precautions due to the risk of localized flooding. The ONM is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as needed.
