Algerian authorities are investigating approximately 4,000 micro-enterprises suspected of import fraud. The investigation stems from anomalies detected within the country’s 2025 import program (PPI), designed to centralize import requests. The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion is leading the inquiry, uncovering numerous questionable declarations.
