Algeria has begun delivering jet fuel to Niger, further solidifying the growing relationship between the two countries. The deliveries, carried out by the Algerian state oil company Sonatrach, commenced Friday and represent another step in increased cooperation. This follows recent Algerian support for Niger, including a donation of four helicopters and the initiation of oil exploration efforts at the Kafra South-East 1 well. The move signals Algeria’s continued commitment to supporting Niger, particularly following recent political shifts in the region. This energy cooperation is expected to bolster Niger's aviation sector and enhance regional stability. Details regarding the quantity and duration of the fuel deliveries have not yet been disclosed. The deliveries were announced by Sonatrach on Saturday.
