A serious incident occurred on an Air India flight travelling from Phuket to Delhi when the aircraft encountered severe turbulence. Indian Minister of Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, confirmed that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has initiated a “detailed investigation” into the matter. The turbulence resulted in injuries to 17 passengers on board. Footage documenting the aftermath of the event has surfaced. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the turbulence and assess potential safety concerns.
