A new survey conducted by Médias24 and DRH.ma reveals the emerging social tensions surrounding artificial intelligence in Morocco. The study gathered data from 327 respondents, primarily human resources professionals representing various Moroccan companies. Findings indicate that the adoption of AI is beginning to impact employment stability across the board. Specifically, 10% of the surveyed companies are now considering layoffs as a result of AI integration. Beyond potential job cuts, the report notes that recruitment processes are being slowed down. Additionally, some existing job roles have already been transformed by the technology. These results highlight a growing concern over the displacement of human labor by automation.
