Czech police are increasingly utilizing artificial intelligence to enhance their work, particularly in addressing cybercrime. A language tool called AIDA is currently being tested by hundreds of officers to aid in investigations related to online fraud. The police anticipate wider deployment of AIDA to additional stations this summer. This initiative follows the establishment of a digitalization and AI department earlier in 2025, reflecting a broader effort to modernize police procedures. Department head Anika Stulíková stated the move was a natural progression towards optimizing processes and accelerating tasks. The integration of AI aims to improve efficiency and responsiveness within the police force. Further development of the department and its AI capabilities is planned.
