The situation is compounded by a growing crisis concerning the rights of women under the Taliban regime. The country continues to struggle with widespread poverty and instability following the shift in power, with little indication of immediate improvement. International aid is crucial, yet access and effectiveness remain significant challenges. The long-term consequences of Taliban rule are increasingly dire for the Afghan people.
