A planned meeting between the Amazigh movement and the presidency of the National Human Rights Council has been postponed. The gathering was originally scheduled to coincide with the International Day to Combat Hate Speech on June 18. Official sources cited several organizational reasons for the delay. Specifically, the Council has not yet appointed a Secretary General. Additionally, officials were occupied with commitments related to the opening of the 62nd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. These administrative and scheduling conflicts prevented the meeting from taking place as intended. The postponement reflects current logistical challenges within the official human rights body.
