A $360 million Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) complex is slated for development in Vân Đồn, Vietnam. The facility is designed to simultaneously service six aircraft and is projected to begin operations in 2028. This project represents a significant investment in Vietnam’s growing aviation industry, enhancing its capabilities in aircraft maintenance. The complex aims to capitalize on the increasing demand for MRO services in the Asia-Pacific region. Officials anticipate the hub will create numerous jobs and stimulate economic growth in the Vân Đồn area. The development underscores Vietnam’s ambition to become a regional aviation hub. This new facility will reduce reliance on overseas MRO services for Vietnamese airlines.
