The scheme involved purchasing the product for a mere 23,000 Vietnamese Dong (approximately $1 USD) and drastically increasing the price to 199,000 Vietnamese Dong (approximately $8 USD) by exaggerating its benefits. Nguyễn Tiến Đạt, 29, of Hanoi, is identified as a key suspect in the alleged fraud. Authorities believe the group deliberately misled customers with false claims about the medicine's effectiveness. The case highlights concerns regarding the regulation and sale of traditional remedies within Vietnam. Legal proceedings are now underway to address the fraudulent activities and hold those responsible accountable.
