Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused the United States of delaying the delivery of missiles already paid for by European nations. This accusation comes as US Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Witkoff travels to Oslo, Norway to meet with Zelensky. Following the meeting in Oslo, Witkoff is scheduled to travel to Russia to meet with President Putin. According to Axios, the purpose of these meetings is to coordinate a comprehensive peace proposal to present to Russia. The delay in missile deliveries reportedly hinders Ukraine's defensive capabilities. The US has not yet officially responded to Zelensky’s claims. The planned discussions aim to potentially pave the way for de-escalation and a resolution to the ongoing conflict.
