Authorities in Bagerhat, Bangladesh, have arrested Masud Khan in connection with the suicide of Shanta Akter Jui, a 30-year-old housewife. The arrest, carried out by SRB-6 Sadar Company, took place Tuesday night in the Shiromoni Bazar area of Khulna City. Lieutenant Colonel Nistar Ahmed, captain of SRB-6, confirmed the arrest on Wednesday. Jui’s death has been ruled a suicide induced by another person, with Khan identified as the primary suspect. He is now in custody as legal proceedings commence. The location of the incident is Sharankhola Upazila within the Bagerhat District of Bangladesh.
