Fifteen-year-old Dev Rai founded Serving Society Global Foundation in India with the goal of supporting traditional artisans. The nonprofit has already generated over $15,000 in revenue and mobilized 300 volunteers. Serving Society Global Foundation connects India’s artisans with consumers in America through various community programs. Rai hopes to establish a sustainable model for artisans by utilizing digital platforms to expand their reach. The initiative not only preserves India’s cultural heritage but also fosters entrepreneurship and leadership skills among young people. The foundation has assisted 400 artisans and successfully sold 900 products to date.
