The Agriculture and Food Security Office (DPKP) of South Kalimantan has distributed Rp250 million worth of vegetable and medicinal plant seeds to 65 Posyandu (integrated health posts). This aid, provided in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, aims to support nutritional programs and community health initiatives. The DPKP stated the assistance will bolster local food security and improve the nutritional intake of residents utilizing Posyandu services. Specifically, the seeds distributed include various vegetable varieties and medicinal plants suitable for home gardens. Officials hope this will encourage local communities to grow their own healthy food sources. The initiative focuses on enhancing the role of Posyandu as centers for health promotion and food resilience in South Kalimantan. This support is expected to benefit numerous families across the region.
