Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) is responding to increased public demand by releasing a stockpile of N95 masks to retailers. This move aims to ensure greater accessibility of these masks for the population. The MOH is collaborating with major supermarket chains – Cold Storage, Giant, and Sheng Siong – to distribute the N95 masks, or equivalent alternatives, across all their locations throughout Singapore. Masks will be made progressively available, indicating a phased rollout to manage supply and demand. This initiative underscores the government's commitment to public health preparedness. The distribution aims to provide citizens with readily available protection amid concerns driving up demand for N95 masks in Singapore.
