The Polish Ministry of National Defence (MON) has refuted reports claiming that a drone discovered yesterday on Lithuanian territory originated within Lithuania itself. Earlier, the Lithuanian Prime Minister stated the drone was a Ukrainian FPV-type unmanned aerial vehicle carrying explosives. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz also relayed this information. The Ministry released a statement appealing against the repetition of false speculation regarding the drone’s origin. The Ministry's denial directly contradicts initial assessments about the drone's launch point from within Lithuania. This clarification comes after growing interest in the incident involving the unmanned aerial vehicle found on Lithuanian soil. The situation highlights concerns over potential disinformation surrounding the incident.
