Hockey expert Pekka Virta discussed the issues faced by Olli Jokinen during his time as coach of HIFK. Jokinen has been dismissed from his position, a move Virta doesn’t find surprising. HIFK announced the firing of its entire coaching staff on Wednesday afternoon. The decision follows a historically poor season for the club, currently ranked 15th out of 17 teams in the regular season standings in Finland. This dismissal signals a significant change for HIFK as they seek to improve their performance. A new coach will be stepping in to replace Jokinen and attempt to turn the team’s fortunes around.
