A new study conducted by Nézőpont Institute reveals a surprising shift in Hungarian political preferences. Unlike traditional polls attempting to predict voting intentions, this research focused on direct sympathy levels towards political entities. The findings indicate that the Tisza Party currently enjoys more than twice the level of support compared to the ruling Fidesz–KDNP alliance. This methodology appears to have yielded significantly different results than typical pre-election surveys. Researchers suggest the unique approach avoided the biases inherent in predicting voter choices. The study highlights a potentially growing base of support for the Tisza Party within Hungary’s political landscape. This poses a notable development as Hungary approaches future elections.
