Mongolian prosecutors investigated 45,201 criminal cases between October 12-16, 2026, registering 1,476 complaints and initiating 770 new investigations. Prosecutors issued indictments in 342 cases, covering a range of crimes including offenses against health, traffic safety, property rights, and sexual integrity. Specifically, L.A. and E.U. were indicted under Article 18.7 of the Criminal Law for forging invoices to falsely claim they sold yellow turnips (шар манжин) to eligible entities. They fraudulently obtained non-monetary support from the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, thereby illegally accessing food subsidies. Between December 20, 2024, and February 24, 2025, L.A. illicitly obtained 2,203 million tögrög, while E.U. gained 354 million tögrög. These cases have been transferred to the Sum Dundyn First Instance Court in Selenge aimag for trial.
