Police in Sandefjord, Norway have arrested a man in his 50s and charged him with assault following an incident in the city center late Monday night. The man initially pushed a woman in her 30s at a restaurant before leaving. A second woman, also in her 30s, confronted him about the push, at which point he attacked her, pulling her to the ground by her hair. While on the ground, he kicked and punched her in the lower body. A passerby intervened, attempting to restrain the man, and a third man then became involved in a scuffle until police arrived and gained control of the situation. Both the assaulted woman and the intervening man sustained minor injuries, and the suspect also suffered minor facial injuries. Police are seeking additional witnesses who have yet to come forward.
