State-owned logistics and food company Perum BULOG in Indonesia is intensifying the distribution of 150,000 tons of corn under the Stabilisasi Pasokan dan Harga Pangan (SPHP) program, which translates to Food Supply and Price Stabilization. This is the second phase of the corn distribution initiative. The program prioritizes assistance to micro-livestock farmers across Indonesia. The aim is to ensure a stable supply of corn and manage price fluctuations, particularly benefiting smaller-scale farmers. BULOG is working to expedite the process and reach those most in need. This effort contributes to broader food security measures within Indonesia by supporting the livestock sector. The SPHP program aims to shield vulnerable farmers from market volatility.
