Temporary flight restrictions have been implemented over parts of Oslo and Romerike in Norway on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a police announcement. These restrictions are in place due to the official visit of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyj to Norway. During his visit, President Zelenskyj is scheduled to meet with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Finland’s President Alexander Stubb. Representatives from several other countries are also expected to attend. The purpose of these discussions is to develop a peace proposal intended for Russia. Authorities have enacted these measures to ensure the safety and security of the visiting dignitaries and the proceedings. The flight restrictions will be lifted once the presidential visit concludes.
