Rahman stressed the importance of considering all individuals as Bangladeshi, irrespective of their religious or caste affiliations. He made these remarks on Monday, October 19th, during an event celebrating the Sharadiya Durga Puja at the Dhakeshwari Temple in Dhaka. Leaders of the Hindu community presented several requests to the Prime Minister during the event. Rahman affirmed a commitment to principles of inclusivity and national unity, hinting at further discussion on the presented demands.
