The euro has reached its lowest value against the Norwegian krone since December 2022, currently costing 10.57 Norwegian kroner. This strengthening of the Norwegian krone is attributed to high energy prices. So far this year, the Norwegian krone has outperformed all other G10 currencies against the euro. The US dollar has also weakened, now trading at 9.39 Norwegian kroner, down from 10.05 kroner at the start of the year. Additionally, the Swedish krona has decreased in value relative to the Norwegian krone, with 100 Swedish kroner now costing 95 Norwegian kroner, a decrease from 110 Norwegian kroner at the beginning of the year. These currency shifts reflect a changing economic landscape in Norway.
