Police in Grand-Dakar, Senegal, have arrested four individuals linked to a drug trafficking operation led by Oumou Traoré, a 41-year-old treasurer residing in Grand-Dakar. The arrests followed an anonymous tip regarding intense drug activity at a house well-known as a drug den. Surveillance led to the apprehension of an individual leaving the property with cannabis hidden on his person. This led officers to discover others inside attempting to discard illicit substances, including hashish. A subsequent search of Traoré’s room uncovered ecstasy, MDMA, and hashish, along with 91,500 FCFA. The other individuals arrested include Thierno Malick Konaté, Fatou Diagne, and Mohamed Coulibaly, all residents of various neighborhoods within Grand-Dakar, including Maristes, Zone A, and Usine Niary Tally.
