Express delivery services now cover over 95% of administrative villages across China, but logistical challenges remain in particularly remote areas. In Zizhong County, Sichuan Province, drones are being deployed to overcome difficult terrain. Winding roads present significant obstacles for traditional delivery methods in this southwest China region. The use of drones provides a solution for reaching these isolated locations efficiently. This innovative approach highlights the growing role of technology in improving rural access to essential services. The initiative aims to connect residents in these areas more seamlessly to the wider economy, addressing logistical hurdles. The Independent Uganda reports on this development within China's evolving delivery infrastructure.
