An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) named Al Mamun of Dhamrai Police Station in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has been removed from duty following allegations of demanding a bribe from a family. The allegations surfaced after the ASI arrested an individual with three pieces of yaba in Dhamrai. The transfer was confirmed on Tuesday, October 20th, by Dhamrai Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazmul Huda Khan. Khan stated the officer has been transferred to Rajarbagh Police Lines but did not elaborate on the specific details of the accusations.
