Czech senators Jan Schiller (ANO), David Smoljak (STAN), and Václav Láska (SEN21), along with deputy Radek Koten (SPD), discussed the results of the Senate elections and their implications for Czech politics on the program *Událostech, komentářích*. Smoljak believes the outcome sends a clear, negative message to the Prime Minister from voters. Schiller countered that second-round voters tend to unite against ANO candidates, while Koten advocated for a single-round election system to better reflect the will of the majority. Láska, however, anticipates no major shifts in the political landscape. The panel also addressed the large-scale demonstrations and associated violence unfolding in France, and the limits of the right to protest, with Foreign Ministry official Veronika Stromšíková contributing to the discussion. The debate was moderated by Tereza Řezníčková.
