The Pardubice-based company ERA, part of the OMNIPOL Group, has unveiled a new electronic warfare system called EW-DEC. This system functions as a decoy, emitting signals that mimic real radar stations, with the primary goal of protecting valuable radar assets from destruction. ERA is showcasing the new technology for the first time at the Future Forces expo in Prague, a three-day event currently underway. The EW-DEC is designed to create confusion and divert enemy fire, enhancing the survivability of critical radar infrastructure. This innovation represents a significant advancement in electronic countermeasures. The system’s demonstration at the Prague exhibition is attracting attention from defense industry professionals. ERA anticipates strong interest in the EW-DEC given the increasing importance of radar protection in modern conflict scenarios.
