Ioan Varga, the financier of CFR Cluj, has strongly criticized the team’s match schedule, arguing it is excessively demanding. The complaint stems from being required to play three official matches within just six days. This dissatisfaction arose following a 2-2 draw against Dinamo București on October 25th. CFR Cluj is now slated to face Universitatea Cluj in the Romanian Cup on October 28th. Following that, they will continue competition in SuperLiga. Varga believes the schedule is deliberately designed to disadvantage his team and constitutes a form of disrespect towards CFR Cluj. He suggests a deliberate intention to undermine the team's performance.
